ICE World Gaming Forum FAQs
Offering a series of individual conference tracks, workshops and peer-to-peer roundtables, the WGF is ICE Barcelona’s official conference programme that addresses key issues affecting senior gaming professionals. It is a separate, and paid-for, event to the ICE exhibition and trade show and requires booking in advance. Focus is very much on the quality of learning, so much effort is placed on the acquisition of leading thinkers for an effective and inspiring speaker line-up.
Note: Delegates attending WGF can use their tickets to attend the ICE Barcelona exhibition.
This year the World Gaming Forum will be back to CC4 and CC5. The sites are located opposite each other in the Upper Walkway, between halls 3 and 4, at the heart of Fira Gran Via.
Head on over to our registration page here which details the different conference and workshop passes we have on offer. Please choose Exhibition Pass to access the expo halls only. To access a bundled deal that includes conference and workshop options, as well as the ability to purchase individual workshops and conferences as ad-ons, please choose the ICE Bundle Pass for the best price.
Please note, the “World Regulatory Briefing” will operate under Chatham House Rules for 2026. After the opening keynote and panel (which are open to press and media), the stage will switch to Chatham House Rules from 11:00 onward. This ensures all comments made by senior leaders and regulators remain off the record and confidential. The Chatham House Rule is a rule of discussion that allows participants to use the information they receive but forbids revealing the identity or affiliation of the speakers or any other participant. It is used worldwide to encourage open and honest dialogue by creating a confidential environment where people can speak freely without fear of their comments being publicly attributed to them. All other conference tracks and workshops, as well as show floor feature content will remain open to press and media, and attributed.
Since the move to Barcelona, ICE has attracted an even more global audience, bringing together attendees from 195 countries. To reflect the truly international nature of ICE, all content sessions in the World Gaming Forum, Sustainable Gambling Zone & Enterprise Stage will be available in simultaneous translation in their choice of languages by scanning a QR code from their smartphones or tablets, then following the translated audio and/or subtitles. Designed for ease, this requires no app download or account creation; scanning the QR code opens a new browser window from which attendees can select both an audio and captions language, depending on whether they wish to follow the translated speech or simply read the subtitles directly from their screen. Translated audio and captions are entirely AI-powered, in real time, and require around 1% of the bandwidth needed to stream an average YouTube video from a smartphone, making them easily accessible via 4G or the guest Wi-Fi available at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
Please Note: visitors will be required to bring their own headphones connected to their smartphone in order to listen to audio translation.
