Nadine Dereza
Nadine is an award-winning international broadcaster and journalist. She has presented business, news and entertainment programmes on TV for CNBC, Associated Press, Summit TV, BBC, CNN, SABC, Simply Money and Sky TV. Nadine was awarded ‘Financial Journalist of the Year’ during her time at the Financial Times and Summit TV. Over the years, she has worked with the full business spectrum…from entrepreneurs to management teams to CEOs and has also interviewed key policy and decision makers, as well as countless global politicians including Kofi Annan, Condoleezza Rice, Ban Ki-moon, Anders Fogh Rasmussen and Gerhard Schröder.
She is also co-founder and Media Director of Babaco Media, a communication agency specialising in preparing clients for media interviews, presentations, crisis planning and parliamentary committee hearings, as well as serving as a judge for the International Broadcasting Convention’s ‘Accelerators Media Innovation Programme’ which explores solutions to industry-recognised challenges in media and entertainment. Nadine is also a Non-Executive Director for Open Property Tech, digitally transforming the property market with AI and blockchain, and was previously appointed by the UK Government Department for Business, Innovation and Skills as a Non-Executive Director of the WorldSkills London Board, promoting best practice apprenticeships and vocational training in the UK.
