Matt Smith is Head of External Affairs for Betknowmore UK. The charity runs peer support services, women’s only programmes, community outreach work across the UK as well as international preventative training and consultancy as part of its mission to reduce harm from gambling.

Matt amongst other members of the team has lived experience of gambling harm with over 9 years in sustained recovery. His background is in the media industry where he spent well over a decade and was part of the management team at radio station – talkSPORT.
