With over four years at Betsson Group, Myriah is currently the Lead Compliance Governance Manager. The Compliance Governance team oversees various horizontal compliance areas of the business including anti-money laundering, responsible gaming, data privacy, and whistleblowing, and is responsible for standardizing policies, processes and practices. Prior to this, Myriah served as a data privacy consultant for an audit company for over two years. She qualified as a lawyer with a Masters in Advocacy in 2017 and was called to the Maltese bar in 2019. Myriah is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) and holds two certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals: CIPP/E and CIPM.
