Erin Copeland serves as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, a federally recognized tribe located in Highland, California.

Ms. Copeland oversees legal services for the Tribe and its affiliates, including regulatory, judicial, legislative, administrative rule-making and political developments, governmental and business strategic planning, and evaluation of new ventures, and major investment proposals. Ms. Copeland leads a team of several attorneys and staff members and has direct oversight of the Tribe’s Information Security, Enterprise Risk Management, and Enterprise Legal Compliance departments.

Ms. Copeland serves on the Management Committee of the San Manuel Gaming & Hospitality Authority and supports the Board in its development of off-Reservation gaming and hospitality projects, including Palms Casino Resort.
