The study’s key findings include a 37.1% reduction in deposit withdrawals, a 10% increase in deposit volume, and a 5.6% NGR uplift.
Research Methodology
The team analyzed behavioral data of a million users from all the regions where Trueplay’s clients operate. The study involved a four-week A/B test aimed at comparing the behavior of two player groups: those engaging with the Trueplay widget and those who did not. The specialists also examined user activity for at least a month before and after their interaction with the Hold to Earn program.
Research Insights
Changes in behavioral and financial metrics prove Trueplay’s ability to drive player spending and foster their confidence in a platform.
Top spenders who interacted with the Play to Earn and Hold to Earn features made 37.1% fewer deposit withdrawals. That way, operators benefited from retaining funds on the platform and avoiding payment processing fees.
Players started depositing 10% more money into their accounts and placing bets that were 8% larger on average. Overall, iGaming platforms grew their net gaming revenue by 5.6%.
Businesses offering Hold to Earn saw a substantial ROI of 120%–200%, as average revenue per user generally grew by 50%.
Integrating Trueplay drives visit frequency, too. Players return to the iGaming website more often, averaging 8.15 visits compared to four before the Loyalty Booster Suite came into action.
