Sir Philip Davies was a Member of the UK Parliament for 19 years (2005-24). For over a decade chaired the All Party Parliamentary Group for Betting and Gaming, and was a member of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee which produced a report into gambling regulation. He is the former Chairman of Star Sports Bookmakers in the UK.
Before entering Parliament, Philip worked in senior customer service and marketing roles for UK supermarket chain ASDA. Philip runs his own public affairs and customer service consultancy business - Nessen Ltd and is Chairman of the Greyhound Board of Great Britain
