I'm Morgane Austruy, Director of Excessive Gambling Prevention and Gambler’s Protection at France's National Gambling Authority. I lead a dedicated team responsible for ensuring that casinos, online gambling licensees, and monopoly operators comply with their obligations regarding the prevention of excessive gambling and the protection of minors. This entails conducting thorough annual reviews of their action plans. We keep a watchful eye on the latest research regarding gambling addiction to enhance our preventive efforts. Collaboration is a central pillar of our approach, and I actively cultivate partnerships with key players in the addiction and research fields to provide better support for at-risk players.
