Michael Wohl
Dr. Michael Wohl is a Professor and Graduate Chair in Psychology at Carleton University (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada). Work in his Carleton University Gambling Laboratory focuses on, among other things, factors that predict disordered gambling and facilitate responsible gambling. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers, 100 government or gaming industry reports, and is the receipt of, among other recognitions, the International Center for Responsible Gaming’s Research Achievement Award, National Council on Problem Gambling’s Lifetime Research Award, and Carleton University’s Graduate Mentorship Award. He has been awarded over 8 million dollars in research funding from national and international agencies.
