Markus Büchele has been CEO of Novomatic Italia S.p.A. since January 2021 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2008. Trained as a lawyer, he holds a Doctorate and a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Vienna and completed an Erasmus exchange programme at the University of Oslo. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive international experience in M&A, investment management and corporate leadership within the Novomatic Group, holding senior roles in Austria, Italy and Germany. He is fluent in German, English and Italian
