Lisa Ventura MBE
Lisa Ventura MBE FCIIS is an award-winning cyber security and neurodiversity specialist, published writer/author, journalist and keynote speaker. She is the Chief Executive and Founder of Neuro Unity which is a division of Unity Group Solutions Limited along with Cyber Security Unity and AI Unity. Neuro Unity is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and championing neuroinclusion across all sectors of society.
Under Lisa's leadership, Neuro Unity delivers a comprehensive suite of services including website and app accessibility audits, advocacy for policy changes supporting neurodivergent individuals, support groups and meet-ups, and neurodiversity workplace training through partner organisations. The organisation actively campaigns to raise awareness of neuroinclusion and engages in policy work with government, healthcare organisations, and the NHS to establish frameworks that provide neurodivergent individuals with the support, resources, and acceptance they need.
A proud neurodivergent leader herself, Lisa founded Neuro Unity to create practical solutions for neuroinclusion. The organisation's Knowledge Hub serves as a central resource bringing together information on autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, and other forms of neurodiversity, including diagnostic pathways, support services, and resources for families navigating neurodivergent relationships. Through Neuro Unity, Lisa aims to break down barriers and promote understanding that unity means "being together or at one with someone or something" – bringing neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals together to create a more inclusive society.
In June 2023 Lisa was awarded an MBE in King Charles III’s birthday honours list for services to cyber security and to diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion (DEIB) and she is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Technology.
