Based in Leeds, Emma leads the Safer Gambling Identification and Interventions Strategy across Flutter UKI, which is made up of Sky Betting and Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair. Emma’s teams are responsible for the design and implementation of Flutter's UKI Customer Safety Management Strategies; how we identify those who may be at risk of harm, and how we intervene at each stage of the customer journey to reduce the likelihood of future harm. Emma joined Sky Betting and Gaming in 2017 in the People function, where she was a business partner in several functions including Safer Gambling, helping identify her passion for this area. She moved into the role of Head of Safer Gambling Operations for SBG in 2021, expanded into her remit across the other Flutter UKI business' in early 2023, before moving into her current role late last year.
