Alex Dixon is a strategic CEO and Corporate Board Member whose 20 years of executive experience has hyper-scaled, transformed and contributed to high growth across iconic and Fortune 500 businesses ' including MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment Corp., and Goldman Sachs & Co. A former investment banker with Goldman Sachs, Alex provides boards with 20 years' experience in M&As, restructuring, recapitalizing balance sheets, financing, and an IPO, while invigorating legacy brands. An influential strategist with unique industry and business model expertise spanning New York, London, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and the East Coast, Alex drives clarity of purpose and provides a diversity of experienced insights from the boardroom to ground operations. He brings a vast network of C-suite industry leaders, investors, banking, PE, and Wall Street. Currently, as CEO of Q Casino & DRA, Alex led the strategic turnaround reversing a stagnated gaming and entertainment organization to 10X increases in Retained Earnings, influencing Board, gaining/activating financing, diversifying with new business lines, and transforming culture. Previously, as President of PureStar West Coast, Alex led the transition of a 3rd-generation, family-owned business to a mature, operationalized business for PE Cornell Capital. Despite supply, manufacturing, and sales challenges during COVID, he saved PureStar from bankruptcy and grew margins/market share, spanning 3 countries and 25 markets. As President & COO of MGM's Circus Circus, Alex provided strategic governance for the 11th largest hotel/resort in the U.S. at scale, and its successful sale for $825M. Earlier, as General Manager, he turned around, built, and scaled MGM's Springfield Casino to a $960M resort. At Caesars, Alex established and scaled the Baltimore Casino after pitching/obtaining $442M funding from Wall Street and worked with Board, CEO, CFO, and PE to safeguard from bankruptcy after Caesars (private) was purchased by TPG Apollo, and reorganizing business through change management. As Board Member for Dubuque Bank & Trust, a private division of a $20B public bank, HTLF, Alex advises on customer acquisition, governance, performance, and growth. He also advises Mogul Hospitality's Advisory Board as they build/expand their talent platform/GTM strategies into the gaming sector.
