Bringing together regulators, operators, suppliers, charities, academics and technology providers to advance safer, more sustainable gambling. The Sustainable Gambling Zone is one of ICE’s most valued and internationally recognised feature.
In 2026, the SGZ occupied a newly redesigned, highly visible space between Halls 4 and 5, creating an open hub for product discovery, networking, debate and knowledge sharing. The Zone brought together over 30 partners and 28 exhibitor pods, showcasing solutions across AI-driven risk detection, affordability, KYC, self-exclusion, player support, ESG, DEI and sustainability.
Across three days, the SGZ stage hosted discussions on safer gambling regulation, transparency, self-exclusion, AI, biometrics, affordability, ESG, DEI and evidence-based practice, including contributions from the ICE Research Institute and its academic partners.
Recognised by both the Vixio Regulatory Awards and Casino Guru Awards the SGZ has evolved from its origins as the Consumer Protection Zone into a global platform for collaboration, innovation and practical action.
